Are you interested in joining the Greater Slidell Dart Association (GSDA)? League matches are Tuesday nights and start at 7:30 pm. We currently have three divisions offering a place for every level of player, (A division) experienced to (C Division) brand new! The Fall and Spring seasons are 15 weeks long, with additional weeks for playoffs and the Summer season is a 6 – 10 week long open division meet and greet. (See the calendar for our current season and events.) Play rotates for teams between their home location and other teams’ home venues., but we are always open to new venues – ask your favorite bar if they would like to host a team.

The format is 5 sets. Matches consist of Singles 301, Doubles 501, Singles Cricket, Doubles Cricket and Singles 501. The A division plays the best 2 out of 3 matches in all singles matches. The B division plays best 2 out of 3 in singles 301 and singles cricket. The C division is required to play best 2 out of 3 in Singles 301. You can see the play format on the scoresheets tab. Matches usually last until about 11 pm, but can go longer.

We have three seasons per year: Spring, Summer and Fall. The fee per Spring and Fall season is $20 per player. The fee for Summer season is $10.00. The minimum number of players required per team is 4, but most of our teams have more, the maximum is 9 players.

The best way to join the league is to form a team at your favorite bar or venue where you play darts with other players and contacting the management about sponsoring your team. Team sponsorship for the whole season is only $20 for Spring and Fall Seasons and $10.00 for the Summer Season, and will bring new players to the bar every time you play at home. You can also sign up as an individual, and the GSDA will find you a team with an opening.

The Greater Slidell Dart Association was established by dart players for dart players. The GSDA provides outstanding competition for those who want improve their game. The GSDA also promotes a casual league for those who simply want to enjoy a night out playing darts with friends.
